Exeter on the road to Wembley and Twickenham

In the space of only a few weeks Exeter and the South West led the way in ticketed sport with Exeter Chiefs playing host to Saracens in the Premiership play-off.

Exeter Chiefs went on to win the play-off in the final seconds of the game leaving Saracens unlucky in their attempt in winning the double this year and pay back, twelve months on, from their loss against Saracens in the 2016 finals. The following week, Exeter Chiefs would go onto win the Aviva Premiership at Twickenham against Wasps in an exhausting extra time period. On the same weekend football club Exeter City narrowly lost out to Blackpool in the League Two EFL play-off final after winning against Carlisle only days before at home at St James Park Stadium in the heart of Exeter on the 18th May.

It was the following morning of the EFL play-off that saw Ticket Zone doing what is always most valued by their clients, working behind the scenes on behalf of Exeter City in preparation of the 12:00 noon on-sale.

Local TV news, radio and regional websites began to heavily promote the availability of the six categories of tickets, their prices and regularly updated fans of the “The Grecians” of where they can buy their tickets. In the space of only a few days Ticket Zone had processed, made available online and through its Contact Centre and fulfilled up to 15,500 tickets by 9:30pm on Tuesday.

Ticket Zone has a long history and track record in providing ticketing services to football clubs for over ten years when they most need support during Wembley finals and Play Off runs. Over the years our Team have supported Brighton & Hove Albion FC, Burnley FC, Sunderland AFC, Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, Brentford FC, Bradford City AFC, Swindon Town FC, Exeter City FC, Shrewsbury Town FC, Carlisle United FC, Hull City AFC, Reading FC, Swansea City AFC and Liverpool FC.

Not bad for a Devon based ticketing business and authorised ticketing supplier to Wembley Stadium and Football Association with over 35 years’ experience and track record supporting elite sport.
